Innsmouth Look

Some people, unbeknownst to them, are descended from the horrible Deep Ones. These people have the "Innsmouth Look" and certain events may cause their abominable genes to manifest, transforming them into full Deep Ones.

Use in Game

These cards are only used with the Innsmouth board. Sometimes an investigator will be instructed to draw one or more Innsmouth Look cards. That player then shuffles up the Innsmouth Look cards and draws as many cards as instructed, all at once. If none of them indicate that he has the Innsmouth Look, nothing happens and the cards are returned to the deck. However, if the card that indicates the investigator has the Innsmouth Look is drawn, follow the instructions on that card before returning all of the Innsmouth Look cards to the deck.

New Innsmouth Look cards were added in the Miskatonic Horror expansion. These cards have other effects and usually require additional Innsmouth Look cards to be drawn.
