I recently began playing Arkham Horror with my family. Having read about the wiki on Reddit, I have so far referred to it multiple times. I decided to request an invite to join in order to clean up / edit / add some missing pages.

For our first game, we wanted to go for it and play against Cthulhu. I nixed that idea after learning that Cthulhu is the most difficult to fight. Yeesh. We randomly chose Shub-Niggurath (not much easier, it seemed) and began playing. There were 5 of us and we were first learning the rules. I read the rules and browsed the Wiki as much as possible before we played which seemed to help the game along quite a bit. At one point Shub-Niggurath almost awoke, and considering three of us hadn't killed a monster yet, this was bad news (I didn't want to die). We barely made it through, but this also caused the General Store to close up.

Over all, the game is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to really dig into it again.
