Skill value

The Investigators' Skill values are used in Skill checks throughout the course of each turn, to determine their success in evading or combatting monsters, surviving horror checks, casting spells, and other tests that may come to them through encounters.

The investigators have six basic skills, which are adjusted in pairs using the Skill sliders:

Speed is used in Speed checks, and provides movement points Fight is used in Fight checks and in Combat checks Lore is used in Lore checks and in Spell checks

Sneak is used in Sneak checks and in Evade checks Will is used in Will checks and in Horror checks Luck is used only in Luck checks
